Renault has unveuled its new compact SUV at Geneva. The Koleos, mechanically related to the next-generation Nissan X-Trail, will be built by Samsung (which is majority-owned by Renault-Nissan) in Bussan, South Korea.
The Kuga competitor from Ford is in direct competition with this new vehicle the Ford Kuga however has greater maket share expected. The Renault Koleos will be powered by Renaults new 2.0 dCi diesel engine (150bhp and 175bhp outputs). It will be available in both front-wheel and four wheel drive versions, the latter having Nissan’s electronic all-mode 4×4 system. Sales start in June.
